Gemmie Jones has twenty-one years of executive leadership experience in the profit,
public, and nonprofit sectors. Her approach is grounded in respectful communication,
clarity of objectives, the development of performance excellence, and meaningful recognition. A lawyer by training, her communication,
analytical, and conflict resolution skills also contribute to her success.
Gemmie has served as chief executive for some of San Francisco's premier organizations, and has a solid reputation
for strengthening leadership, increasing organizational capacity, and bringing about positive, sustainable change at the local,
regional, and national levels. For the past fifteen years, she has been applying her skills and experience as a management
consultant, interim chief executive, and personal and business coach, providing 10,000 hours of professional coaching services.
Gemmie creates powerful partnerships, with personalized
strategies that encompass the whole person, and bring about lasting change. Whether discovering a new life-path, career, love, or renewed health and vitality, satisfaction and purposefulness are consistently
realized by her clients.
In addition to her private practice,
she is part of the Korn Ferry Executive Coaching team, where she works with leaders in the profit sector. She also works
with Janssen and Associates supporting organizations navigating executive leadership transitions.
Gemmie holds a J.D. from Golden Gate University School of Law, and a B.S from Utah State University in Business
Administration and Fashion Merchandising. She has completed specialized training in mediation, facilitation, media relations,
and non-defensive communication, along with Co-Active and Advanced Course Curriculum at The Coaches Professional Training
